Frequently asked questions

honest answers about what aiponge is, and what it isn’t.

What is aiponge?

aiponge helps you turn self-reflection into a personalized song — an emotional anchor for awareness, understanding, and intentional change. you write a few honest words; aiponge reflects what might be underneath, and composes a song that lets the insight stay with you. it is a reflective companion, not a replacement for therapy.

How does it work?

Three phases. Awareness: you write or speak what’s actually on your mind. honest, not performed. Understanding: aiponge reflects possible patterns, themes, and reframes — a mirror, not a verdict. Integration: a personalized song carries the insight in a form you can feel, paired with prompts that connect it to one small action in your real life. the song is the part you remember; the rest is the part you live.

Is aiponge grounded in research?

The approach is informed by a few consistent findings in the literature on music, emotional memory, and reflective practice: music activates the brain’s reward pathways (Ferreri et al., PNAS, 2019); listening to music can lower stress and anxiety (de Witte et al., Health Psychology Review, 2020); music engages neural networks tied to emotion and memory, especially when it’s personally meaningful (Zaatar et al., Brain Behavior & Immunity, 2024). aiponge does not claim to rewrite identity, heal trauma, or treat mental health conditions. it supports awareness, integration, and intentional change — the change still comes from you.

Does aiponge only validate me?
